Looking at the RG site they seem to think it will be a global upgrade, The only thing is that all cameras will still be made as normal and not have the upgrade-smacks of another way to get $100 out of their customers, Looks like a nice upgrade though and i would like it on the D7000
Having used the 7D for 12 months now, the dial lock is not something that I have noticed to be lacking or something I have wished for. Indeed the ability to move quickly between the C1 to C3 modes has been a positive advantage. My 7D wont be going to Canon RCC
