Its a long way to Japan from the USA, Infact its a long way to anywhere from the USA, I left Tokyo yesterday and after a 12 and a half hour flight landed in New York, I had 1.5 hours to get through customs and recheck my bags in and then run for my flight home but i made it and boy was it nice to be back in my own bed, I now have a tonne of stuff to get sorted before going to Washington DC on Saturday for a week so i will make this a quick post as i have to drop my laptop in for repair if there is any chance of getting it back before the weekend, I also need to get the D7000 off to Nikon to sort a couple of problems that i had with it whilst away,Both of these images were taken with the D7000 which shows that it can take an excellent image
Good to be back
Dave
Hi Dave,
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed your Japan trip and the photos you have posted.
I have a D300 that I am thinking of changing for a D7000. Having used both is it worth doing.
Iain.
Hi Iain
ReplyDeleteThe D300 is a great camera and i do miss mine, I like the D7000 for many reasons over the D300 like the very quiet shutter and the lower noise with the extra pixels as a bonus, The camera is much smaller and lighter so needs the battery grip when using longer lenses for balance, I prefer the D300 files straight from the camera, They look sharper and the D7000 files need some extra sharpening to bring the detail out, The monkey images are taken with the D7000, The D400 should be out around Sept and i would wait for that if i was you
Dave
Thanks Dave.
